Well To Start With Something Entertaining.....

That's right I said it... I am addicted to this thing! Familiarized with computers by age 6 in the advanced Texas education system (Wagon Trail was a kick ass game for the Apple), I actually never owned a pc until I was 15 in 1993. My mother presented it to me and we would play Monkey Kong and make fun of the green squarish graphics and we had a rotating beer can screen saver that was just too cool. Then a few years later and after a leap of technology she upgraded up to a Compaq (before they were big). Online chat consisted of MSN. That was it... and no one was ever online. There were NO adult rooms....

Now after seeing the internet grow and progress and knowing what I know now; this seems a bit silly to re-live my computer background as to most it is minute, but I think that I have a stronger grasp of technology and what is upcoming and new by proven ability to adapt to new technologies. After my move to Florida and settling, I began taking technology classes in 1998 at Valencia Community College in Kissimmee, Florida via online and in re-time classroom atmospheres. I would highly recommend online courses to anyone who is dedicated enough to commit a few hours to their advancing future. Most can be signed up for online too and the Florida Realtors Exam Course will be online as well in June 2003 for those who want a career without 2 or 4 years investment.... BE PRODUCTIVE!

I have taken Intro to Networking, Photoshop 6 (though I now use CS3 & CS4 more and like it better too..), Visual Basic (which I NEVER use), Access (which ok I use some but hate!) Oldie But Goody, FoxPro! stable, simple, graphically adequate. You can read more about my programming knowledge on my resume.

My websites each have a little piece of me.... I honestly put a giant effort into all of them... Most of my online friends have sites of their own too... and they are great and will agree they do the same!

Now To A Few Other Things I Really Enjoy!

Fred, our cat. Primarily white with a few grey splotches, pink ears, & green eyes. He is the baby. I went to the animal shelter in Kissimmee and found him and he was abused and it took forever to get close to him or him to be lovable, but now he is the sweetest puddy tatt. We have also recently adopted Little Miss aka Crazy Daisy... Yes! She is absolutely CrAzY!

I use to live in Indian Shores, which in my personal opinion is the most beautiful coast in the world. There is no more perfect day, out on the beach with Bill sunbathing or swimming out to the sand bar. Just standing on the beach looking out at the vastness can be overwhelming. We now live in Pompano Beach which I like, more people, more business, etc. but I miss the ocean... As of Nov. 2009 we have relocated to Fort Myers as my other half is newly employed here. It is good thing I work on the web and my business travels with me!

Now, to get to just how I feel....

As this might come across trite, please excuse me if I offend you... I like to free think. As for morals, I have none, you self-righteous brat! (giggles) No, really. I agree with a few general beliefs like not killing, stealing, and basic right and wrong.

I hate admitting it but I am addicted to online news. I can get like 3 various views of anything news worthy and quickly. Some of my favorite stories lately have been regarding the technology leaps, and I try to avoid reading about the (not so war) war. I am really kind of freaked out though about the new implantable chips you can now purchase and have surgically implanted in your hand.... it would contain your medical allergies, etc. Sure this sounds great.... but what happens when you are important so and so and Big Brother changes your chip (after all there are wireless networks and computers behind it all) POOF! you are dead.... goodbye.

Just scary!

I myself think it is terrible to say this, but I don't trust in our government... I am sorry if that sounds un-American, but think about the messes we get "ourselves" into... and it is ALWAYS expensive to get out of them... and I am not speaking party wise either... I have a friend (well, I call her friend.. we hardly know each other) through an online group, and she is what some would call a conservative (and they would call me a liberal too....not that I agree!) We can discuss things, our different point of views, and not even get angry or uncivil... Sometimes she changes her mind slightly, sometimes I change mine...
