Web Awards: Curse or Pleasure

I find that no matter what the honor and who it is coming from, everyone has some sort of little dissagreements along the way with someone. You know what I mean, eventually someone will be nominated or apply for an award, not receive it or the site has become inactive and sometimes people just take things the wrong way and that person becomes hurt.  I find this process to be wasteful and distasteful, I don't like it when it happens but that is one of the facts on online web award life. I choose to get over it and not make judgements. I just appreciate when someone sees my work and likes it enough to tell me!
